Baker College Center For Graduate Studies and Baker Online to Hold Graduation Ceremony
Baker MBA alumnus and entrepreneur, Michael J. Bleau, to address grads
FLINT, Mich. -
The 2006 commencement ceremonies for Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and Baker Online will be held Friday, June 2, at 7 p.m., at Whiting Auditorium in Flint.
For the first time, an alumnus of the Baker College MBA program, Michael J. Bleau, will provide the keynote address to the 245 students participating in graduation ceremonies for Baker College Center for Graduate Studies and Baker Online, including 97 MBA candidates and 148 Baker Online undergraduate candidates.
Bleau, age 40, is a 1998 graduate of Baker's MBA program and also holds a bachelor of business leadership degree from Baker College. Bleau is the founder and executive vice president of SharkLids Eyegear, Inc, an innovator in disposable eyewear products designed for medical and general consumer markets, based in Woodstock, Vermont. In addition, Bleau is also the founder and CEO of Industry Scope, LLC., a Michigan based company that provides strategic consulting, marketing and sales services to manufacturers, primarily in the automotive industry. His career includes 16 years of executive sales and marketing for tier-one suppliers and equipment makers in the automotive industry. He has published numerous papers on sales and automation, and holds several patents. Bleau lives in Grand Blanc with his wife, Bethany, and their four children.
The Baker Center for Graduate Studies and Baker Online are part of Baker College, the largest private college in Michigan.
Both are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The Center for Graduate Studies also carries MBA program accreditation through the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).
