BAKER COLLEGE CENTER FOR GRADUATE STUDIES AND BAKER ONLINE TO HOLD
GRADUATION CEREMONY
FLINT, Mich. - The 2005 graduation ceremony for Baker College Center for
Graduate Studies and Baker Online will be held Friday, June 3, at 7:00 p.m.,
at Whiting Auditorium in Flint.
A total of 744 students will graduate from Baker College Center for Graduate
Studies and Baker Online, including 336 MBA and 408 undergraduate
candidates. Officiating the commencement ceremony will be Dr. Michael
Heberling, Baker College Center for Graduate Studies president, and Dr.
Julia Teahen, Baker College Online president.
Keynote speaker for the graduation ceremony will be Baker Online master of
business administration (MBA) student, Dennis Kaufman, a design engineering
project manager for Methode Electronics in Carthage, Illinois. Kaufman is
currently completing his Baker MBA with dual concentrations in industrial
management and finance. A 13-year automotive industry veteran, Kaufman has
been honored for his innovative design and development of electro-mechanic
devices and holds eight U.S. patents.
An annual highlight of the graduation is an opportunity for the graduates
and Baker Online faculty to "chat" for the first time face-to-face. More
than 70 Baker Online educators from across the United States will attend the
graduation ceremony, following Baker's second annual Online Summer Faculty
Conference at the Flint campus, June 2-3.
The Baker Center for Graduate Studies and Baker Online are part of Baker
