FLINT, Mich. - Baker College system officials announced a 61.2 percent increase in spring quarter enrollment for Baker Online over the same period in 2002.
More than 13,907 students throughout the Baker system took Baker Online classes spring quarter.
"Results of a recent survey indicate that Baker students chose Baker online education because of flexibility, convenience and instructor interaction," said Dr. Julia Teahen, president, Baker Online. Also, Baker College Center for Graduate Studies announced a 19.2 percent increase in enrollment, with 932 students enrolled spring quarter 2003, an increase from 782 students spring quarter 2002. A total of 880 Baker MBA students attended 100 percent of their classes online through Baker Online.
