2. Is this college Accredited? Yes, we are Regionally Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges & Schools.
3. How much does this college cost? Baker Online’s military tuition rates and discounts are purposefully structured around military benefits to ensure that students incur little or no out-of-pocket expenses. 4. Will this college accept my transfer credits? More importantly will they count toward my degree completion? Baker Online admissions offers a free transcript evaluation to assess the number of credits that will transfer and apply toward your degree completion. In addition to traditional transfer credits, we will also review your ACE credit as well as DANTES and CLEP.
5. What kind of support do you offer to help me afford college (Scholarships & Financial Aid)? Each student’s financial need is unique so we offer free financial aid counseling and work hard to find all the aid available to you. 7. What kind of academic support is available to me as a student? At Baker College we offer our online students the same resources that are available to our campus-based students. These services include: Free Tutoring, Academic Counseling, Research Help, and an Online Library.
8. What is the structure of the class? (Asynchronous vs. scheduled) How are new students orientated to the online learning environment? Course structure is Asynchronous—your online classes are neither time nor place dependent. You can go online at any time of the day or night to read lectures and participate in discussion. Our Online Orientation Course teaches you the online environment before you begin your actual classes.
9. Can I review the course list for my program of interest? (Compare major courses vs. general eds) Yes, all of our programs course listings are available online.
